Limbach University

The Limbach Vision Statement declares our desire to be the 1ST Choice mechanical contractor and service firm in the markets we serve. Consistently exceeding the expectations of our customers, employees, and investors is our path to this goal. This desire requires us to attract, empower and retain the best employees who will enable us to realize our vision through their knowledge, productivity, and commitment. Our company in turn is committed to providing our people the best possible learning environment at Limbach. The fulfillment of this commitment forms the required trust with our employees, which will ensure the realization of our vision. Although not comprised of buildings and a football team with marching band, Limbach chooses to describe all of our training and education efforts as provided through “Limbach University”.

In this ever-changing and dynamic industry, training and education is paramount to success. Our company has always realized, and will continue to stress the importance of training and the role it plays in our success. Each Limbach employee is required to continue their development, on an annual basis, by completing a minimum required number of training hours each year. Employees are expected to continue training most essential to their specific job, as well as training the employee and his/her supervisor has determined to be advantageous to all.

Underlying the development of our university and training efforts is the primary goal to develop and promote our employees and leaders from within. Statistics have shown that Limbach is and will be most successful when we focus on the development of current employees to assume new responsibilities, who in turn drive the company to its goals.

All employees are ‘enrolled’ at Limbach U, and many are recruited to become instructors at Limbach U.  Training and career development is a two way street. Limbach University is where all employees come together as students and teachers on the path to becoming a company with a dynamic learning and teaching culture.
