College Recruiting
The Limbach Company was one of the first specialty contractors to build its management team on a foundation of hiring college graduates. Starting in the late 1960’s we have recruited, hired and trained qualified college graduates who have gone on to become leaders of our company and our industry.
This commitment to consistently bring in talented, energetic graduates and mentor and train them in managing all aspects of the mechanical contracting business has served us and our recruits well. Over half of our senior management developed their skills and abilities through this Management Training Program. From design to construction to service and operations, our managers who came through this time tested program continue to develop to their full potential.
Our diversification in office locations and types of careers, provides candidates with a choice of career opportunities in an exciting, hands-on industry. We don’t just manage contracts. We manage and support the people who build significant projects, often under unique circumstances. Providing mechanical systems that perform to our Customers' satisfaction, with our own workforce, is both challenging and rewarding. It involves all aspects of designing, planning, construction, start-up, commissioning, service and maintenance of the mechanical systems that provide the desired building environment.
We recruit from numerous universities around our metropolitan offices hiring interns, co-ops and graduates each year. These graduates come to us with Bachelor, Masters or Associate degrees in Mechanical, Civil and Architectural Engineering, Building Construction and Construction Management, Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Business. They all have a strong desire to build a career in the specialty construction industry.
